Very very disappointed in CCH IFirm Tax Prep T1

1) T1 Taxprep does not calculate interest and penalties fed and prov unless the forms module is purchased.

2) I tried changing first page of the portal with a picture does not work picture is 10 times too big and the modify tag at the bottom right hand side disappears.

3) the videos, documentation, ehub on the products are very very poor they are more like infomercials advertisement not product operations and functions. The onboarding webinars to quick not enough depth,  I am looking to using another tax software do you have any suggestions ?

4) Product support is poor because the product is not sufficiently developed so a poor product creates, poor employee support and knowledge. CCH IFirm puts more emphasis on marketing rather then developing a solid product that could sell by itself.  

The calculation of interest and penalties for a T1 return is not dependent on whether or not you are using the Forms module. The calculation is done on the form "Interest" and the calculation default can be modified in the Preparer Profile for the T1 module.

I am sorry to hear that you are disappointed in the products. Have you tried using the Knowledge Base to look for answers to your questions? Note that a great deal of effect has gone into the development of the tax content (which is the same as the desktop Taxprep program) as well as the features. Many features have been added since the product's introduction in response to requests from clients and several of the national firms switched from using Taxprep on premises to using CCH iFirm Taxprep (ie. the cloud version) because of the benefits it provided them.
