CTF Tax Policy Symposium & Live Webcast

The symposium will focus on exploring and recommending improvements to Canada’s current tax policy process. The discussions will address two fundamental and interrelated topics, incorporating insights from prominent Canadian and international experts:
 
  • The existing process for developing tax policy and opportunities for improvement, notably the benefits of comprehensive consultation beyond technical issues; and
  • The legislative process and associated implementation practices, including managing uncertainty regarding compliance and other challenges resulting from delayed enactment.
