Members have reached out to us to find out how they should file T2066 Election for Immediate or Gradual Intergenerational Business Transfer. We reached out to the CRA and got the following response:
"To file this form, mail one copy of the election and related documents (if any) completed by the transferor as follows:
- to the tax centre of the transferor
- on or before the transferor's filing-due date for the tax year that includes the disposition of the subject shares, and
- separately from any other return"
